    JOGOS ESCOLARES DE VACARIA: RETRATO DA PARTICIPAÇÃO DOS ESTUDANTES

    The sports school games competitions are important the learning of social, cognitive and cultural aspects, being able to produce benefits to the education combined with development of sports in school. The aim of this article was to analyze the participation and distribution of students in relation to gender, male or female in those sports modalities in three editions of the games in the city of Vacaria-RS. We analyzed the enrollment of students from each school participating in the State School Games of Rio Grande do Sul (JERGS), from 2009 to 2011. 20 public schools have participated of the games, with elementary school students in the children’s category, ages between 13 and 14. Were occupied 2,307 places, filled by 1,123 students, being 794 male students and 329 female. It is noticed that students occupy places in more than one sport often and also noticed that boys have more participation than the girls. Through the Chi-square test it was detected significant differences (p<0.05) when comparing the years of participation. Likewise, the test showed a difference in the larger participation of boys compared to girls (p<0,05). The statistical analysis also pointed out that the sport had largest student participation was indoor soccer. We conclude that the current format of the competition does not provide an increase in the number of young participants over time and does not stimulate female participation

    A AVALIAÇÃO NA EDUCAÇÃO FÍSICA ESCOLAR: O DISCURSO DOS PROFESSORES

    This study has the objective to understand the process of evaluation in the discipline of Physical Education in the state schools of the city of Vacaria-RS. Like methodical strategies it was used the semi-structured interview. It was identified that the teachers use the qualitative evaluation ruled in the attitude criterion, using like instruments the lists of observation and the auto-evaluation. It is possible to end that the evaluation is aimed for the attitude aspects with subjective characteristic, without clear criterion, being carried out by the teachers of free and autonomous form, being related as standards of the schools, which do not explain in the satisfactory&nbsp; way the process of evaluation in the above-mentioned discipline.Este estudo teve por objetivo compreender o processo de avalia&ccedil;&atilde;o na disciplina de Educa&ccedil;&atilde;o F&iacute;sica, nas escolas estaduais da cidade de Vacaria-RS. Como estrat&eacute;gias metodol&oacute;gicas utilizou-se a entrevista semi-estruturada. Identificou-se que os professores utilizam a avalia&ccedil;&atilde;o qualitativa pautada nos crit&eacute;rios atitudinais utilizando como instrumentos a pauta de observa&ccedil;&atilde;o e auto-avalia&ccedil;&atilde;o. Pode-se concluir que a avalia&ccedil;&atilde;o est&aacute; direcionada para os aspectos atitudinais com caracter&iacute;stica subjetiva, sem crit&eacute;rios claros sendo realizada pelos professores de forma livre e aut&ocirc;noma n&atilde;o ficando relacionados &agrave;s normas das escolas que por sua vez n&atilde;o esclarecem de forma satisfat&oacute;ria o processo de avalia&ccedil;&atilde;o na referida disciplina

    FAMÍLIA E ESPORTE: A INFLUÊNCIA PARENTAL SOBRE A PARTICIPAÇÃO DOS FILHOS NO FUTSAL COMPETITIVO

    O objetivo deste estudo foi identificar os fatores parentaisdeterminantes para a participação dos filhos no futsal competitivo. Participaram149 adultos, sendo 84 homens e 65 mulheres com filhos nas categorias sub-9,sub-11 e sub-13 de três clubes de futsal de Caxias do Sul-RS. O instrumentoutilizado para a coleta de dados foi o Questionário Para os Pais (QPP). Osresultados mostraram que o esporte é valorizado e praticado pelos pais. Oestudo conclui que o incentivo dos pais constrói um ambiente saudável para quea criança desenvolva suas potencialidades, segurança e motivação para praticaro futsal e que não há diferença significativa no comportamento entre pais e mães
